Uranus

1

Uranus is the planet of revolution.

2

So, The Uranus card reveals where and how one's life may need a “revolution” right now – where and how one's life may need to go through an over-haul, where that which was under-valued and at the bottom of one's hierarchy of values needs to ascend to a higher place of value in one's life.

3

Likewise, for the same reason, The Uranus card may reveal that which needs to be demoted in its value, that which has outlived its prominence and needs to be reduced in its importance in one's consciousness.

4

The cliché about the planet Uranus says: “to expect the unexpected.” Well, the Uranus Card focuses one's attention to see where and how Life may throw one a curveball right now; even still, one may be surprised by the way in which the Card plays out .

5

The Uranus card, nonetheless, shows which aspect of one's life is undergoing an important adjustment, an important pivot, so that one can up-level the trajectory of one's life.

6

And yet, again, this pivotal experience may arrive as a surprising flip-flop, one that, at first – if one has been out of alignment – may appear to “clip one's wings” and ground one, perhaps even sending one crashing “down to Earth” – again, in all the ways the downward pivot of the 7 can, at first, appear tragic.

7

Uranus is also the planet of rebellion. So whatever is the Uranus Card shows the way in which one is rebellious and that which one may be rebelling against, positively or negatively. For perhaps one's rebellion is justified and necessary. But perhaps one's rebellion is also immature.

8

Uranus is also the planet of non-conformity – revealing what is unique about one. During Uranus, The Uranus card may reveal that which one needs to embrace more fully as something unique about one, something that does separate one from others in a unique and different way.

9

The life experience under the planet Uranus is one that teaches us resilience, how to bounce back, and easily rebound – so that we don’t take ourselves and our lives too seriously, but rather take ourselves and life lightly. Uranus can challenge us to be less attached and less fixated.

10

Uranus reminds us that our own ego is not in control – that there is a deeper unfolding process, a deeper mystery to Life. Just so, Uranus asks us: how can we see the comedy of Life and perhaps even laugh at our own folly? Thus, the Uranus Card may reveal where and how one’ve been too attached to a specific outcome.
